How Does It Work?
The basics
You can use collab for two type of activities:
- Posting a project that you are looking for someone to collaborate with you
- Responding to a project that has been set-up
For both these activities you need to either login or sign-up. This can be done by clicking on sign-up or login. Once this is out of the way you can post a project or respond to projects.
Post a Project
Click on a Add a Project
Fill in the details the title and location are required fields. The length of the title is limited to 140 characters, the title of each post will be sent as a tweet on Twitter.
You can put in a url link for more details if you want and further details on the project.
For any search terms put the detail into the search tags, each term should be separated by a comma, an example would be: sales person, business to business, electronics, commission only. Persons will then be able to search based on these tags.
Browse / Apply To Project
You can browse or search for projects by clicking on the project tab which will show a list of projects or use the search box on the top right hand side of every page.
Once you view the details of the project you can post a response to the poster of that project. Your post will only be visible to the original poster, they will be notified that you have a left a response.
It is advisable to leave your contact details as any correspondence between you and the original poster can be taken up in whatever way you both see fit.
